Job description
Conduct manual security validation assessment based on the detailed test cases for all Network Functions, Network Elements, PKI platform, cloud/mesh infrastructure etc.
Develop necessary scripts and tools needed for ongoing security validation testing.
Performing Ongoing Security Testing in coordination with the client
oReview security requirements with Network Equipment vendors and conduct security validation testing
oConduct security validation tests and review results
oMaintain and update security validation tests on an ongoing basis
oTesting newer features and version upgrades of Network functions and Network elements
oWork with Client Vendor to triage failed test cases
oConduct revalidation of failed Test cases
oProvide feedback to client and vendor
Document Validation evidence and results in Spirent recommended format
Conduct External Network Pentest of all provided external IPs and Internal IPs in scope for the Network Platform and Cloud infrastructure.
Skills
Must have
Minimum 8+ years of overall experience working in Telecom, Networking, application Security and Cloud Security.
Experienced in executing Network Penetration tests.
Strong understanding of network and security concepts including TCP/IP protocol stack, HTTP, HTTP/2, PKI, SSL, TLS, DTLS, mutual TLS, OAuth, Authentication, and Authorization.
Experienced in platform hardening, access management, certificate management, network security and operating system security.
Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX and Shell scripting.
Experience testing cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to successfully complete complex projects with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Extremely strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently on multiple high-priority projects.
Extremely strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities.
Self-motivation to drive solutions to completion.
Nice to have
Familiarity with 4G and 5G Networks (3GPP standards) is a plus.
