How contract staffing works
Contract staffing is used when a company needs to hire one or more employees for a specific task for a limited period of time. The company hires a staffing agency to hire contract staff to perform the work. During this period, the enterprise directs and manages the work activities while the staffing agency acts as the
employer. The staffing agency is responsible for payroll taxes, benefits and other obligations that apply to an employer. In most cases, the staffing agency pays the contract worker and charges the company (its client) an hourly rate.

How contract to Hire staffing works
When you hire a staffing firm to fill contract-to-hire positions, they handle many front-end recruiting tasks, such as sourcing applicants, reviewing resumes and conducting initial screenings. Once a candidate has gone through these stages of the process at the recruitment/Staffing agency, they are passed on to the client for final interviews. The end client’s company then makes the final decision, seeking advice from the recruiter as needed. Once a candidate has been selected and accepted their offer, their employment contract starts on the recruitment/ staffing agency’s payroll and not the client’s payroll.
The duration of an employment contract can range from one month to a permanent contract but is usually three to twelve months. In almost all cases, the client has the option of converting the contractor to full-time employment that meets their particular needs.
